Rarely have I been with a crew that was so intriguing, skilled, and heartwarming. The captains are eager to teach you the craft of sailing during the day and eager to share stories and songs around the cabin dinner table during the night. A truly memorable experience

The time spent on Makaira has been amazing. Kevin and Nacho were always willing to share their sailing skills and very nice and fun people to spend your time with. It’s an experience everyone should do.

Between peaceful sailing trips and adventurous ones I felt a connection to the ocean I had never felt before. Big part of the experience was the company of Kevin and Naxo. With kevin’s positive perspectives on life and Naxo’s great knowledge of the sea in addition to their humor and fun attitude, I felt that I had known them forever after only one day.

I’ve been lucky enough to sail with Naxo and Kevin – amazing experience! These two do not only have loads of knowledge, but great stories and humor. If you’re looking for an adventure you’re at the right place.

If I was offered the change to join the crew on Makaira ll again, I wouldn’t have to think twice about it. I learned an incredible amount about sailing and navigation at sea but I also had a blast exploring as we travelled north along the beautiful and spectacular Norwegian coast. These guys instantly make you feel like a part of the crew.

I spent the best summer with these two, and I found way more adventure than I’d ever though from a COVID summer. Rock climbing, free diving, sailboat repairing and marine traffic rules. I learned and experienced a lot. It’s really motivating to be around Naxo and really good to work with Kevin, and I love to see them accomplishing their dreams. I really hope I’ll have the opportunity to work together with them in the future.

Being part of the crew on Maraika II was so inspiring and it was such an amazing time. Sailing along the Norwegian coastline, experiencing the life at sea and having both deep and funny conversations with Kevin and Naxo was a unique adventure which I will never forget.
